Katya Zinsli
Katya interned at the National Parks Service at Harpers Ferry Center in West Virginia where she treated objects from Arlington House, the Robert E. Lee Memorial in Arlington Cemetery. She also received her B.A. in art history from Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe and interned at the university’s Art Museum Conservation Department and the Hayden Library Preservation Department. Katya has also been involved with the American Institute for Conservation’s Emerging Conservation Professionals Network (ECPN) as a regional liaison for conservators in Arizona. This past summer, she interned at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming before heading to Washington D.C this fall to begin her third year internship in objects conservation at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
