Karen Bishop
Karen received a BA in Anthropology from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. After graduating, she traveled to Los Angeles for conservation technician positions at Fine Arts Conservation and Silverlake Conservation in addition to a pre-program internship at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. While in graduate school, Karen spent her first summer interning at the Cleveland Museum of Art and her second at the Portland Art Museum. She is currently a third year intern in objects conservation at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
