Allison Slenker, Class of 2021

Allison Slenker

Allison earned her B.A. and M.A. in art history from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. While there, she conducted extensive research on East Asian celadon ceramics. Allison completed pre-program internships at the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She also interned with Rosa Lowinger & Associates LLC and The Conservator's Easel LLC, private conservation practices that are both in Los Angeles. Allison spent the summer of 2019 as a graduate conservation intern at the Portland Art Museum. Currently, Allison is a third year intern in objects conservation at the Detroit Institute of Arts.
