Lindsay Cross

Lindsay was a conservation technician at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington D.C. before starting her graduate studies in Buffalo. She received a BFA in architectural history from Savannah College of Art and Design in addition to attending The Art League School in Alexandria, VA, and the Medieval Longstitch Binding Workshop in Hyattsville, MD. Lindsay was also a pre-program intern at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, with National Gallery conservator Mervin Richard, and at PaperLoves Conservation - all in the D.C. area. She completed her third-year internship in objects conservation at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond and is now the Engen Conservation Fellow at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
