Katarzyna Bator
Katarzyna grew up in Strzyzow, Poland and completed a BFA in Fine Art and BA in Art History at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York where she was also the exhibitions coordinator. Kate completed pre-program book conservation internships at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Morgan Library and was also a conservation assistant at the New York Historical Society and the New York Academy of Medicine. This summer, she was a book conservation intern at the New York Botanical Gardens and is currently a third year intern at the New York Historical Society’s Library. Kate's specialization is in book conservation and she is an Andrew W. Mellon Library and Archives Conservation Fellow.
