Emma Guerard, Class of 2022

Emma Guerard

Emma (she/her/hers) was a conservation technician at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Margaret Herrick Library in Beverly Hills before starting her graduate studies. She attended the University of Washington in Seattle where she earned a B.A. in art history and held a position at the school’s Suzzallo Library. Emma held additional pre-program positions on the west coast at The Conservator’s Easel, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the UCLA Library Conservation Center in addition to completing continuing education courses at UCLA’s Extension program. Emma is an Andrew W. Mellon Library and Archives Conservation Fellow and she is currently completing her third year internship in book conservation at the University Libraries Preservation and Conservation Department at the University of Iowa.
