Kate received her B.A. in art history from the University of Chicago. While in Chicago, she was a conservation intern at the Chicago History Museum, Northwestern University Library, and Kuniej Berry Associates. Before starting her graduate studies, Kate spent time in Philadelphia interning at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, American Philosophical Society, Carole Abercauph Paintings Conservation, and The University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. She has also been active in the Emerging Conservation Professionals Network for AIC. This year, Kate is completing her third year internship in paintings conservation at the Brooklyn Museum of Art.
