Meredith French
Meredith went to Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York where she earned a BA in studio art. Before starting her graduate studies in Buffalo, she lived in the San Francisco Bay Area where she was a conservation technician at Tracy Power Objects Conservation and Chrysalis Art Conservation, both private practices in San Francisco. Meredith also completed a pre-program internship at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in photograph conservation and was a paper conservation intern during the summer of 2021 at Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming. She is also a painter and printmaker specializing in screen printing and copper plate etching. Meredith completed a graduate summer internship in 2022 at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth, Texas before heading to her third-year internship focused on paper conservation at the Library of Congress. She is now working as a Conservator at Quarto Conservation in Frederick, MD.
