Carolyn Burns

Carolyn completed her pre-program experience in Pittsburgh, PA where she was conservation technician and department coordinator for collections at the Carnegie Museum of Art. She also worked and volunteered as conservation technician at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh and the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. Carolyn earned a BA in Art from Lafayette College in Easton, PA and studied abroad at Syracuse University in Florence. She just completed a summer internship in paper conservation at the National Air & Space Museum in Washington, D.C.  Carolyn will be interning this summer at the Virginia Museum of Fine Art in Richmond, VA before a year-long graduate internship at the Weissman Preservation Center, Harvard Library, in Cambridge, MA.
