Josephine Ren

Josephine earned a BA in art conservation from Scripps College in Claremont, California and spent a semester at Studio Arts College International in Florence, Italy. She held positions at RLA Conservation, Los Angeles Art Conservation, Fine Arts Conservation, LLC,  and Williams Art Conservation, all private practices in Los Angeles. Josephine also completed pre-program internships in New York City at the Brooklyn Museum and American Museum of Natural History in objects conservation and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in photograph conservation. During the summer of 2022, she interned at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C. where she worked on a collaborative treatment of a Morris Louis painting and currently, she is at the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco completing her third year internship in paintings conservation.
