Basia Nosek, Class of 2021

Basia Nosek

Basia holds B.F.A. degrees in both art history and painting, as well as an interdisciplinary minor in Russian, Eastern European, and Eurasian studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also received a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in chemistry from Northwestern University. Prior to entering the graduate program, Basia worked at Northwestern University, the Judd Foundation, and the University of Illinois conservation labs. During the summer of 2019, she was a graduate paper and photographs intern at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri. This year, Basia is a third year intern in paper conservation at Library of Congress.
