Tamia Anaya

Tamia was born in Quito, Ecuador and raised in Los Angeles, California. She received a BFA with an emphasis in Art History, Theory, and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Tamia’s previous conservation experiences include internships at the Museum of Modern Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Brooklyn Museum. Additionally she worked as the assistant manager at Kremer Pigments. Prior to commencing her graduate studies, Tamia held a year-long internship at the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.
