Jenni Krchak

Jenni attended the University of South Alabama in Mobile where she earned a BA in art history. Her pre-program internships included hurricane recovery work at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, wall painting conservation at a medieval church in Wiltshire, England, and book and paper conservation at the Georgia Archives. She also gained experience in paintings conservation during a semester abroad in Florence, Italy. Prior to her graduate studies, Jenni was a book designer with Negative Capability Press and an outreach coordinator at the Mobile Botanical Gardens. During the summer of 2022, she was a graduate intern at the American Philosophical Society in Philadelphia, PA where she worked on both parchment and lithograph on paper treatments. This year, Jenni is in Richmond, VA where she spending her third year interning in paper conservation at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
