Anita Dey

Anita graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore with a B.S. in biological sciences. She had a wide range of pre-program internships in Washington D.C. at the National Archives, Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, and the Library of Congress. Anita was also the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation pre-program intern at the Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts in Philadelphia and completed a graduate summer internship in paper conservation at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond. In addition, she is the Class of 2021 student representative and is currently completing her third year internship at the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art where she is specializing in paper conservation.
