The School of Education (SOE) is pleased to welcome 10 early childhood educators and policymakers from our local community and New York State as special panelists for a faculty meeting focused on the critical issues and challenges of early childhood education.
With the advent of Universal Pre-K and the inauguration of Buffalo State's accelerated 4 + 1 pathway in early childhood and special education, we are pleased to shine a light on the preparation of teachers who will serve the youngest of our clientele.
While this is a required faculty meeting for all SOE faculty, we invite any faculty in the Teacher Education Unit and faculty and staff in general to attend. As a SUNY Center for Innovation in Education and a Carnegie Engaged Campus, our commitment to community includes responding to the needs of schools and agencies that serve families and young children.
