Tamia Anaya, Class of 2020

Tamia Anaya

Tamia was born in Quito, Ecuador and raised in Los Angeles, California. She received a B.F.A. in art history, theory, and criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Tamia’s previous con- servation experiences include internships at the Museum of Modern Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, and Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. In 2018, she completed summer internships at both Cineteca Nacional de Mexico and Instituto Nacional de Antropoligia e Historia in Mexico and is currently a third year intern at the Library of Congress.
