Nicole Alvarado

Nicole received a B.A. in fine arts with a minor in chemistry from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles where she also had pre-program internships at The Los Angeles County Museum of Art and The Huntington Library. She was a conservation intern at both the Autry Museum of the American West and the University of California’s Fowler Museum in Los Angeles in addition to having extensive custom framing experience. Nicole is currently completing her third year at the UCLA Library Conservation Center and is an Andrew W. Mellon Fellow in book conservation.
